Clinical Supervision and Consultation

 My approach is collaborative and psychodynamically informed, with attention to transference, countertransference, identity, and cultural dynamics. I aim to provide a reflective space where you can think deeply about the therapeutic process and your role within it.

I bring over 12 years of experience supervising trainees in psychiatry and psychotherapy. I’ve taught courses in psychodynamic psychotherapy, clinical neuroscience, and group psychotherapy. My consultation work is grounded in clinical rigor, cultural humility, and a deep respect for the complexity of therapeutic work.

Consultation is a collegial, non-evaluative process designed to support your growth and clinical insight. It can be one-time or ongoing and is tailored to the needs of experienced or early-career clinicians alike.

We might focus on clinical dilemmas, difficult transference/countertransference dynamics, cultural or religious considerations, practice development, or integrating medication and psychotherapy in treatment.

Yes.  The Reflective Practice Group is a space for clinicians to slow down, think deeply about their work, and reconnect with their clinical instincts. It emphasizes thoughtful exploration over quick fixes and supports the ongoing development of professional identity. I draw on my experience leading Balint groups to help clinicians reflect on the emotional and relational aspects of their cases.
