Frequently Asked Questions

  •  Individual therapy is a collaborative space where we explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences. Sessions often involve making sense of patterns, identifying stuck points, and developing insight, compassion, and change over time.

  •  Therapy may be helpful if you feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit—many people seek therapy to grow, improve relationships, or navigate transitions.

  •  I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, identity and self-esteem struggles, relationship issues, trauma, loss, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting immigrants, first-generation individuals, and people navigating intersecting cultural identities.

  •  My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, with attention to the unconscious, early relational experiences, and current patterns. I aim to create a safe, thoughtful, and attuned space where change can unfold.

  •  Both are available. I offer in-person therapy in a comfortable, private office setting, as well as secure video sessions for those who prefer the flexibility and accessibility of online care.

  •  The length of therapy varies depending on your goals. Some people work through a specific issue in a few months; others benefit from longer-term therapy to deepen insight and shift long-standing patterns.

  • Yes. If needed, we can integrate medication treatment into your therapy. We’ll talk through the role of medication thoughtfully, and I support deprescribing when appropriate.

  •  While individual therapy can be deeply helpful, many people benefit from combining it with group therapy—especially when working on relationship patterns, social anxiety, or emotional expression. We can discuss whether a group might complement your individual work.
